Georges Fenech, Senior Advisor to Mascaret Partners, is a French magistrate and politician, member of the UMP and then the Républicains. A magistrate in the Rhône-Alpes region, he investigated the first major trial involving Scientology in Lyon, before specializing in economic and financial matters, drug trafficking and juvenile delinquency. He chaired the Association Professionnelle des Magistrats (APM) from 1996 to 1998. He headed the Interministerial Mission of Vigilance and Combat against Sectarian Aberrations from 2008 to 2012. He was UMP Member of Parliament for the 11th constituency of the Rhône from 2002 to 2012, during which time he chaired the parliamentary commission on the Bataclan attacks.
Georges Fenech is the author of over 12 essays on developments in justice and society, and on sectarian aberrations. Since 2017, he has also been a consultant for the CNews television channel and Of Counsel at the 28 OCTOBRE law firm.
