Yves Censi began as a consulting engineer in banking and finance organization at KPMG Peat Marwick Consultants before directing the marketing of online products for La Française des Jeux. Joining Jacques Pilhan, who had just democratized the profession of political communicator, in 1997 he became advisor to the President of the Republic Jacques Chirac at the Elysée Palace until 2002. Elected Member of Parliament for Aveyron from 2002 to 2017, Vice-president of the Finance, Economy and Budgetary Control Commission, he was also elected as a local, municipal and urban councilor of Rodez from 2014 to 2020. Yves Censi is recognized for his expertise in political strategy and in public and private funding schemes. He has chaired or reported on twenty parliamentary reports regarding public action in the economy, finance or on social issues and labor relations. Special Rapporteur for the budget of National Education, State social and pension schemes, Post and Telecommunications (prefiguring the opening to competition of the two sectors and organizing the public financing of Broadband coverage), we he also owes him the Censi-Bouvard law on real estate LNMP and the Censi law governing the status of teachers in private establishments. He was a MP on mission to the Prime Minister, President of the Fund for Financing Social Agricultural Benefits and of the National Council for Integration through Economic Activity, President of the Permanent Conference of Rural Tourism, Vice-President of the National Council of Tourism, permanent member of the Franco-British Council. In 2020, he became senior advisor at Logical Pictures, an audiovisual group which quickly established itself as a leading player in the financing of films and series in France and abroad.
A Senior Partner at Mascaret since 2021, Yves Censi now advises both CAC40 executives and leading public or political leaders. Yves holds a research Master’s degree from the École Normale Supérieure Ulm – EHESS (1990), a Master’s degree in Labor Law from the University of Panthéon Assas, Young Leaders 2003 from the French-American Foundation and auditor of the 2010 session of the Institute of Advanced Business Studies (IHEE). He is a frigate captain (H) in the citizen reserve (FOR1 mention of the Naval School) attached to the Center for Higher Studies of the Navy.
